Luxurious. Posh. Indulgent. These words tend to conjure up images of a stack of Benjamins changing hands, or, for those among us making regular amounts of dough, massive credit card debt. While we usually associate luxe products with big price tags a closer look will show that this really isn't always the case. Sure, a Chanel handbag, designer piece of furniture, or those Louboutins you've had your eye on will make you smile, but there are also a raft of inexpensive things in life that can both enrich and heighten our enjoyment.
Take a good book for instance, as well as the luxury of the time to enjoy it. A great glass of wine. Mastering a new skill. Pushing yourself beyond your boundaries. Getting organized. Loving someone. Being loved in return. Discovering something new. Teaching someone else something new. These are all things we can bring into our lives on a daily basis that, in many cases, don't have to cost us much at all, if anything. Although it's also our belief that a hint of glamour never hurt anyone. And shiny things do make us happy. The trick is to acknowledge not only the big moments, or the most expensive, but also the small things in life that elevate our experience to something we like to term Luxe, a word that for us encapsulates all the good things that life has to offer.
So, to us living The Luxe Life means you've created an existence for yourself that allows you to enjoy and indulge in beauty and gorgeous things, pushes you to learn and grow, and involves the objects, activities and people you love most. Many of us are on a constant journey of discovery; establishing our best selves and the life we were meant to lead. This blog is all about creating a community of people that are on the same journey and enjoying The Luxe Life...together.
